Boudhik IP is hiring for the position of Principal Patent Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join them in their Indore office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review high-quality Provisional and Complete Specifications for patent filings.
- Manage patent prosecution, including drafting responses to Examination Reports and Office Actions.
- Represent clients in hearings (for registered patent agents) and provide strategic insights on patent prosecution.
- Oversee and contribute to patent opposition matters and litigation support through in-depth research and case analysis.
- Guide and mentor junior associates, ensuring quality and consistency in patent work.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in patent laws and emerging technologies to enhance the firm’s practice.
Eligibility
- 2-4 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution with a proven track record.
- Educational Background: Engineering/Science Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Mechatronics/ Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Strong expertise in Indian and international patent laws and procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle complex patent matters independently and provide strategic advice.
- Willingness to relocate to Indore.
