Details of the Job
Manastu Space is hiring a Junior Legal Associate with experience of 1 to 2 years to join their office in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare documentation for corporate and regulatory compliance on a case-by-case basis.
- Monitor the status of legal and regulatory compliance, including statutory filings and returns.
- Coordinate with external consultants for compliance matters (including corporate, secretarial, and labour-related compliance) at regular intervals.
- Assist in reviewing in-house strategies for intellectual property protection, as well as data protection and privacy laws.
- Support the team in conducting legal due diligence as part of fundraising processes.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on topics related to the business and operations of Manastu Space, as required.
- Assist in the drafting and review of contracts, including service agreements and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Contribute to the review and/or drafting of internal legal and policy documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university.
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a legal professional.
- Experience in conducting legal due diligence as part of fundraising processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing legal issues.
- Proficiency in corporate and secretarial compliance under Indian law.
- Demonstrated experience in contract review and drafting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interest in and knowledge of the space industry.
- Basic understanding of international space law and policy.
