Affiliated to the International Federation of Phonographic Industries (IFPI), PPL India exclusively controls Public Performance and Radio Broadcasting rights for 400+ music labels across Bollywood, Regional and International songs by assignment and /or license and/or transfer of these rights following Section 18 and Section 30 of the Copyright Act, 1957.

PPL India is hiring an IPR Legal Consultant to join their office in Hyderabad.

Department: Legal & Regulatory.

Role and Responsibilities

  • To draft and send legal notices/replies/emails to adamant parties.
  • To draft and send emails to copyright queries raised by parties.
  • To draft police complaints/representations.
  • To Handle both litigation and non-litigation work, including the preparation of Plaints, Commercial IP Suits, Complaints, Replies, Affidavits, written statements, and Agreements, as well as obtaining injunction orders against adamant parties in the High Court.
  • To accompany team members for a meeting with adamant and corporate parties to clarify legal queries.
  • To provide all other legal support required by the Legal and Sales Team.
  • Travel Pan India whenever needed.
  • Research on legal points.
  • Corporate Legal work.

Eligibility

  • UG- LLB in Law.
  • Key Skills: Litigation, Drafting Notices, Legal Advice, Legal Research, Non-Litigation, Legal Notices, Corporate Litigation, Legal Drafting, Trademark Suits Drafting Agreements Copyright Legal Documentation Affidavits Intellectual Property, Law Litigation, Matters Agreement.
