Details of the Job
PepsiCo is hiring a Legal Associate Attorney in Gurugram. Candidates must have 5-6 years of experience in legal practice.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management & Legal Advisory:
- To provide legal support to all functions comprising the ecosystem partners, delivery leads, and all new functional capabilities in terms of all legal advisory, review of proposals, apps, projects, and day-to-day legal support.
- To liaise with Global Legal and provide opinions to ensure the protection of business interests and assets.
- To be hands-on in contract management by being able to draft, negotiate, and coordinate all legal business documentation including Contracts/ Purchase Orders/ MPSA/ LPAs EULA, etc.
- To provide support on real estate issues two S&T sites in Hyd and Gurgaon covering 429,004 sqft + 26,869 sqft.
Compliance:
- To build a culture of statutory compliance by reviewing applicable laws for two sites, preparation of Statutory Compliance Checklist, roll-out, monitoring, holding stakeholder meetings, support on remediation and reporting to Management, monitoring all License & Permits Framework, establishing compliance monitoring tools, apart from providing legal advisory/ guidance for ensuring compliances promptly.
- To monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes affecting the IT/ ITES industry and update stakeholders promptly.
Litigation Management:
- Litigation Support by preparation of legal notices, replies, litigation Support, and External Statutory Regulatory Liaison.
- Identifying and regular monitoring of External Counsel & Retainership.
- Organization Reputation Management: To provide legal advisory on corporate reputation management tocomms-relatedd Legal Support (Advertisement/ Website), and sustainability initiatives.
Trainings & Digital:
- Training to Business To undertake training for stakeholders ofinaried subjects relating to applicable laws.
- Training & Investigations: Work closely with the ompliance & Ethics Team to provide legal guidance and support in COC investigations and to impart FCPA and Anti Bribery Training to its employees.
- To ensure roll-out ofdigital tools like contract management, litigation management, etc.
Corporate Secretarial:
- Assist and advise to comply with the corporate governance requirements, and best practices and regularly monitor compliance.
- End-to-end coordination of all secretarial and compliance matters rregardingthe LLP.
- Preparation and maintenance of POAs, Circular Resolutions, minutes,a nd other statutory documents.
Eligibility
- 5-6 years of experience.
- Degree in Law and CS required.
- Knowledge of the IT/ ITES sector, employment laws, and technology laws.
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Contract Management Skills like drafting and negotiations.
- Litigation handling knowledge is preferred.
- Networking skills with internal and external stakeholders.
