Details of the Job/Internship
KAnalysis is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate with 1-2 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and trade laws.
Role and Responsibilities
Role:
- The role will involve advising on various aspects of corporate formation, governance, foreign exchange regulations, and trade matters including anti-dumping. The Associate will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing agreements and providing strategic legal support for investment activities and deals.
- You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our USA office in relation to obtaining Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO).
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on corporate, commercial and trade-related disputes, and foreign exchange regulations, ensuring compliance and facilitating investments.
- Draft and review a range of commercial agreements, including Shareholder Agreements, Purchase Agreements, Lease Deeds, Joint Venture Agreements, and IP-related agreements.
- Support cross-border transactions and provide assistance to the USA office, particularly in relation to TRO matters.
- Conduct legal due diligence, assist in strategic planning, and provide legal opinions on key regulations such as the Companies Act, FDI policy, trade laws, and Competition Law.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and registered with the Bar Council.
- 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong legal drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of FDI policy, Companies Act, foreign exchange regulations, commercial agreements, and anti-dumping regulations.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently.
