About Amity Law Review (ALR)
Amity Law Review (ALR) is a peer-reviewed and double-blind refereed journal published by Amity Law School since 2000. Over the years, it has featured numerous eminent figures from the legal fraternity on its advisory editorial board. The journal exclusively focuses on legal topics and receives annual contributions in the form of research papers, articles, case comments, and book reviews. Committed to addressing current legal developments, both national and international, ALR continues to contribute significantly to legal scholarship. It holds ISSN 2249-2232 and was formerly listed as UGC Approved Journal No. 41080. It is published once every year.
About Call for Papers
The journal welcomes submissions for Volume 21 in areas including but not limited to civil law, criminal law, corporate law, arbitration, cyber law, and intellectual property rights. Contributions can take the form of research papers, articles, case comments, or book reviews.
Eligibility
Submissions are invited from academicians, legal professionals, and jurists.
Submission Guidelines
Co-authorship is allowed for up to two authors. Every submission must include an abstract not exceeding 250 words, along with up to five keywords. Research papers should generally range from 5000 to 7000 words, including footnotes. Notes and case comments should be between 3000 and 5000 words, while book reviews must be within 1500 to 2000 words. Exceptions to word limits may be accepted at the editors’ discretion.
Formatting Guidelines
Submissions must follow British English spelling and punctuation. The main text should use Times New Roman font, size 12, and footnotes in size 10. Headings should be formatted as follows: first-level headings in 12pt bold and centered; second-level in 12pt bold and left-aligned; third-level in 12pt italics and centered. Line spacing must be 1.5 for the main body and 1.0 for footnotes. A left and right indent of 0.5 inches should be applied. Footnotes, not endnotes, should be used for references. Author details should appear only on the cover page for anonymity. The journal’s footnote style can be accessed via the Amity Law Review’s official style guide.
Copyright
Authors must ensure their submissions do not violate any third-party copyrights. Upon publication, the copyright will reside with The Amity Law School. However, the publisher disclaims responsibility for any copyright violations.
