Climate Change and Environmental Displacement
Special Issue: January 2025

The Journal of Internal Displacement is calling for papers to be published as a Special Issue in
January 2025. Papers must be submitted no later than 15 October 2024.
Topics could include (but are not limited to):

● Theoretical and conceptual analysis
● Data and statistical analysis
● Research and methodological design
● Law and policy on migration, displacement, and asylum
● Advocacy and resistance
● Storytelling and lived experience
● Impact, influence and outcome
● Challenge, opportunity, implementation with intervention programs
● Emergency response and disaster management

About the Journal: The Journal of Internal Displacement (JID) is the only scholarly and
interdisciplinary platform for raising the profile of displaced populations through discussions,
critical dialogue, emerging themes, reflections and explorations on a wide range of topics and
