Roles and Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for drafting both litigation and non-litigation documents under supervision, attending various courts handling civil and criminal matters—including district, sessions, high courts, consumer forums, and cooperative courts within Maharashtra—for filing and following up on cases. Additional responsibilities include visiting Navi Mumbai and Mumbai jails for vakalatnama signatures and meetings with accused persons, and making visits to offices such as the property registrar, Tashildar, Talathi, and land records departments as required. The work will involve engagement with civil, criminal, matrimonial, cheque bounce, and corporate finance matters, including specialized cases under MOCOA, POSCO, NDPS, and IPC sections 302, 379, and 380, along with heirship and declaration litigations.
Who can Apply?
Candidates eligible to apply are those available for a part-time role or internship, able to begin between 7th April 2025 and 12th May 2025, and commit to a six-month duration.
