Role and Responsibilities

  • As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for managing US immigration cases, including preparing and filing petitions such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-2, and employment- or family-based green card applications.
  • You will assist with RFE (Request for Evidence) responses and support PERM processes with accuracy and attention to detail. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, you will provide guidance on immigration policies, processes, and timelines, assist with client onboarding, and ensure clear communication throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Additionally, you will stay informed on US immigration law and policy updates, ensuring all case filings comply with USCIS, DOL, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Your role will also involve document preparation and quality review, drafting case strategies, cover letters, and supporting documentation under the guidance of senior associates.
  • Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with senior associates and paralegals to ensure efficient case processing while contributing to team projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Eligibility

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in US business and family immigration processes, including H-1B, L1, PERM, and green card applications.
  • Proven experience with high-volume immigration cases is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in immigration case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong research and writing skills for legal drafting.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with a global team.
