S Chaand & Associates (Legal Consultants), a boutique law firm specialising in corporate and taxation law along with civil and criminal litigation, is seeking a dedicated Assessment Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for fresh graduates to gain practical experience in a professional setting with direct exposure to diverse legal work.

About the Internship

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience in both corporate law and litigation. Interns will work closely with experienced Advocates, CAs and CSs, gaining exposure to various areas such as mergers & acquisitions (M&A), contract drafting, dispute resolution, GST litigation, and more. This is a unique chance to develop legal skills in a multidisciplinary team and diverse practice areas.

Eligibility

  • Candidate with LL.B. degree will be preferred.
  • Candidates in their final year of LL.B.
  •  Strong interest in both corporate law and litigation
  •  Good communication and research skills

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in corporate compliance and secretarial services
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Supporting in civil and criminal litigation matters
  • Assisting with intellectual property law issues
  • Involvement in debt recovery, injunctions, and fraud cases
  • Supporting GST litigation and dispute resolution processes
  • Preparing financial statements and assisting with bookkeeping

Duration

3 to 6 months

November and December 2024
